HAND LAY UP FIBERGLASS PIPE & FITTINGS Specify contact molded piping for the optimum in corrosion-resistant and custom features. Contact molded "hand lay-up" pipe and fittings are made completely by hand with layers of hand cut glass veil and mat and brush-applied resin. Each laminate is wetted and rolled by hand to achieve perfect saturation of the reinforcement, thickness and placement of the liner, and freedom from trapped air and impurities. Contact molding is the oldest and most versatile form of building a fiberglass reinforced laminate. Construction by this method is accomplished by only the most skilled craftsmen in the fiberglass industry. Even though the price per linear foot of hand lay-up pipe may exceed that of machine made pipe, overall cost savings are accomplished by shop prefabricated spool pieces. Piping assemblies arrive at your jobsite with critical connections made by the manufacturer in controlled conditions. Field welds are minimized for quick final installation. Detailed spool sheets and assembly outlines accompany the pipe to the jobsite. For best results, include field installation technicians from Vee Enterprises in your budget. PIPE SIZES: 1" through 48" PRESSURE RATINGS: full vacuum to 150 psig
PIPE LENGTHS: 40 foot maximum SPECIFICATIONS: Contact molded fiberglass pipe, duct, and fittings supplied by Vee Enterprises is made in strict accordance to ASTM specifications. Contact molded fittings conform to National Bureau of Standards PS 15-69.
