Plastic lined FRP
structures are manufactured by AC Plastiques.
The shell is normally
constructed of a premium grade polyester resin, although other resins are
available upon request. Corrosion resistant liners are mechanically bonded
to the FRP wall via a fiber interface which is permanently molded into the
plastic liner by a proprietary process. Some liner materials available are:
PVC, CPVC, PP,
HDPE, PVDF "Kynar", ECTFE "Halar", ETFE "Tefzel", MFA, FEP
&
PFA "Teflon".
Plastic lined metal
structures are manufactured by Electro Chemical Engineering and
Manufacturing. Electro Chem liners can be installed using proprietary
bonding systems into new or existing steel or stainless steel tanks. Electro
Chemical can install and repair liners in their large modern facility or on
the customer's site. Combinations of brick and elastomeric membranes can be
combined with plastic liners for optimum protection. Among our liner options
are: chlorobutyl
rubber, Neoprene, Hypalon,
PVC, PP,
HDPE, PVDF "Kynar", ECTFE "Halar", ETFE "Tefzel", PTFE, FEP
&
PFA "Teflon".
